As I am sitting here it is about ready to rain--the thunder is loud and close and the lighting is striking near by, scaring Presley and Roxy with the loud crackling. We are finally getting reflief from the heat today and maybe the house will have a chance at cooling off tonight. But I never would have guessed that a new season is about to begin. Presley brought me home the first orange leaf of the season--she picked it while out on a hike with her dad and Roxy.
I love the fall--cooler nights, pleasantly warm days, lots of sunshine with the occasional storm (like tonight's), the colors of the mountains where we live, and of course my birthday. I am not ready to give up the pool and the long summer days but I do love the change (if only I could find a way to make the winter only last a couple of months). The rain is coming down now--this will be a good storm to sit outside on the deck and watch . . .

Hey:) I found your blog through Summer Warner's. It's your pseudo-cousin, Tracie Charles Wilton. I just love your little girl, and your artistic flare in the blog:). I hope you don't mind if I peruse every once in a while. I too have a blog: maddoxkai.blogspot.com. Check it out some time.
Miss you guys!
Tracie
K I also found your blog through Summer Whalen's, it's Jessica Martin who was in the BYU ward my freshman year that your husband was in the bishopric with, anyway I also saw you and your daughter at that easter egg hunt in Provo. Your blog is so cute and your daughter's hair is awesome, my best friend's little girl has curls too and I'm so jealous.
