Update 2.

Saw the allergist--the one we wanted to see was booked until the end of JULY so Stella saw a doctor she recommended. The doctor's office was clear on the south west side of SLC (we live 45 mins from the north east side). It was a long day.

Stella was tested for several food allergies (the standard scratch tests). She came back negative for everything except egg whites (she had a very small reaction that basically means nothing).

After 2 hours of talking and testing and more talking the doctor thinks it is not an allergy but an acid issue (like I originally thought). New plan: double the dosage of Prevacid (7.5 mg twice a day) and add in foods in a week. IF that doesn't work add in Zantac and see a gastro doctor for a pH test and blood work.

Cross your fingers this works. I may never get to wean Stella.

Does the doctor have her sleeping upright at all? That helped us- but may be a little tricky with an older baby. We did two medications and once we found the right one, it was a night and day difference with Cole. I hope you figure out things quickly!
